What events should I attend?

The first and second business sessions are open to all brothers. All active Charges will have two voting undergraduate delegates. All Charges (Dormant and Active) can have one voting alumni delegate. That voting delegate must be a full Convention registrant. Undergraduate delegates are required to attend.

The Omega Service is our nondenominational service for brothers who have passed in the previous year. This is also open to all brothers. Undergraduate delegates are required to attend.

The white-water rafting excursion! This is included in a full registration package and is also available a la carte. Undergraduate delegates are required to attend. There will be an alternate track available for those unable to raft. Ticket price includes a custom Theta Delta Chi towel and lunch!

The Grand Banquet is ticketed. If you purchase a banquet ticket or full registration, you will have a seat at the banquet, with your choice of meal! The PGL reception is open to all banquet ticket holders and full registrants. Undergraduate delegates are required to attend.

Minerva Sessions are programming sessions tailored to our undergraduates. Undergraduate delegates are required to attend, and anyone is welcome to join. The 4th Minerva Session on Saturday from 3:00pm-4:00pm is geared towards alumni and undergraduates alike.

I am curious about the rafting, what do I need to know?

The rafting trip will be run by Riverside Outfitters. All rafters will be picked up from the hotel and bused to Boulevard Bridge (our launch point). Guests should wear swim trunks and a t-shirt (moisture wicking recommended), sneakers or water socks. No flip flops! Please don’t bring electronics, sunglasses or other items that don’t float. We will raft to Belle Isle for lunch, optional swimming, and a break. After reaching the takeout point, rafters will be bused back to the hotel. Rafters must be ten years or older. Safety equipment is provided, and sunscreen is recommended. All rafters must sign waivers. If you have any additional questions, reach out!

Who can attend the Charitos reception?

The Charitos Reception is invite only. It is for current and new members of the Charitos Society. Please email Patrick Tiernan at ptiernan@tdx.org or call him at 800.999.1847 ext. 1 for more information.

Dress code for Grand Banquet? Business sessions? Omega?

Jacket and tie for all above events, black tie at the Grand Banquet is optional. Everything else is casual.

Can guests attend the Grand Banquet?

Yes! You can bring friends, spouses, family! We have a special ticket price for children! All attendees must purchase a ticket.
